Hugoton Cross Country Results
Lady Wildcats Win Third at Hugoton

On Saturday September 15th, the Boise City Cross Country Teams travelled to Hugoton for races held at the Hugoton Golf Course.
The High School Girls team of MaKenze Twyman, Cintia Martinez, Cydnae Hitchings, Jayden Brown, Autumn Mizer, Baleigh Roberts, and Kaylie Crawford took third place, finishing close behind second place Stanton County. Each member of the girls team received a medal for their fine team effort. Individually, Autumn Mizer (2nd) and Kaylie Crawford (17th), received medals for placing in the top twenty.
Running for the Wildcats in the High School Boys 5K were Ian Licea, Steven Segovia, Jason Torres, and Cesar Soto. Jason Torres and Cesar Soto both ran personal bests.
Competing for the 7th grade girls in the one mile race were Melanie Soto, Keidy Diaz, Jarah Whitfield, Johnna Roberts, Chandler Tranthum, and Patti Gray. Keidy Diaz won a medal placing 9th.
Seventh grade boys runners Cesar Ramos and Luis Decasa continue to get stronger as they compete against older competitors.
In the 8th grade girls race Tristan Williams won a medal placing 7th while Laura Rosas and Erin Dunn ran their fastest race of the season.
Finishing out the Middle School Division on Saturday was Oscar Diaz winning 4th place in the 8th grade boys race.
The Cross Country Teams travel to Beaver next Saturday, September 22nd. The races will begin @ 9 AM
