Remediation Starts Tuesday!

Boise City Elementary School will begin remediation on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning September 15, 2009. Students will be required to attend computer sessions from 3:15-4:00pm with parental consent. The remediation will focus on each individual student's weaknesses in reading and math or both on a computer based program. Students are identified for this program by their performance level on state assessments and NCLB requires schools to remediate students that score below state standards.
It is mandatory for students that are on the ineligibility list or the probation list to attend classroom remediation sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15-4:00pm. This will be a classroom environment with a certified teacher to give the students guidance towards achieving passing grades in their content areas. Students will be required to bring their work that they need to work on or correct.
